Small Business Experience

In 2002, I established a networking organization for international professionals in Shanghai and Taipei. Within five years, we had expanded to Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Sydney, London, Portland, San Francisco, L.A., Boston, New York, and Toronto. By 2005, we had become the largest network of its kind, organizing offline events simultaneously in 13 cities across 5 continents.

All the while I was the only full-time staff, and I ran the whole show from my home office in the Bay Area.

I had gotten the entire operation down to a science – filing systems, bookkeeping, event checklists, operation manuals, every process and procedure imaginable.

Today that experience serves me well when I organize homes and home offices for my clients, helping them to be efficient, effective, productive, and inspired.
