I can read a room in a matter of minutes, a skill that I acquired over a 10-year period from running a business that depended 100% on the success of its monthly networking events.

If venues weren’t conducive to conversation and interaction – if they were too narrow, too open, too dark, too bright, had too much furniture or all the wrong furniture – it made for an awkward experience for our guests. Not good!

Of the 1,000+ events that we held worldwide, I personally attended about 90 of them, always studying the space and watching how it affected group dynamics, i.e. how the room flowed. This is why home organizing, space planning, and qi optimization comes so easily for me.

It’s become second nature.
